About Cascade
Cascade is an original take on the shedding card game. Every card is just a colour and a number — match the top of the pile by colour or number to shed a card, and first to empty their hand wins. There are no borrowed skip or reverse cards; the twists come from how you play: lay a card whose number equals the cards left in your hand and you CASCADE (play again), or lay two same-number cards to swap hands with any rival. Can't play? Draw one and pass.
How to play
- Open Cascade on the TV and join by code (2 to 8 players).
- Your cards are private on your phone.
- Match the top card by colour or number to shed a card.
- Cascade by playing your hand-size number, or swap hands with a pair — first to empty wins.
Cascade — FAQ
How is Cascade different from other card games?
There are no action cards. Instead, playing a card whose number equals your remaining hand size lets you play again (a cascade), and playing two same-number cards swaps your hand with a rival — the strategy comes from ordinary cards.
How do you win Cascade?
Be the first to empty your hand. Chaining cascades can let you shed several cards in one turn.
How many players can play Cascade?
2 to 8. Hands are private to each phone, so nobody sees your cards.
