Wordweave
Weave your words into a growing crossword

About Wordweave
Wordweave is an original take on the classic word-tile game. A crossword grows on the TV from a seed word while each player keeps a private rack of letters on their phone. On your turn you lay tiles to spell a word that latches onto the board, and every word you form is checked against a built-in dictionary. The twist is the scoring — you earn each word's length plus a bonus for every extra word your placement forms, so the reward is for weaving your word through as many others as possible. When the tile bag runs dry, the highest score wins.
How to play
- Open Wordweave on the TV and join by code (2 to 6 players).
- Your letter tiles are private on your phone.
- Tap a tile then a square to lay words that connect to the board.
- Weave through as many words as you can — highest score wins.
Wordweave — FAQ
How is Wordweave different from other word games?
It's scored by connection, not rare letters: you earn each word's length plus a bonus for every extra word your move forms, so weaving through the board is what wins — there are no letter-point values or premium squares.
How do you play a word?
On your phone, tap a letter tile then tap an empty square to lay it; build your word so it connects to the crossword, then hit Play. Every word formed must be in the dictionary.
How many players can play Wordweave?
2 to 6. Racks are private to each phone, so nobody can see your tiles.
